- Bookings are for camping field accommodation toilets showers car park. The site nestles in a secluded valley in the Langdale forest in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and boasts a rich diverse mixture of vegetation wild life and local history. A small river Black Beck runs around the southern most edge of the flat 2.6acre camping field. The site is affordable and excellent for both small weekend backwoodmanship survival type camps or for full week camps for up to 100 campers.

Birch Hall is one of the best locations in the country for basic scouting with excellent options for great fun days out.The site is open 12 months of the year and look what amenities you get for the fee, excellent fully equipped indoor accommodation that will keep you warm and dry, a haven on a wet and cold weekend, a large site to spread yourselves out. Materials are plentiful for the most ambitious bivouacs engineers and firewood is always available for cooking on the alter fires and campfires.
