The site offers traditional scouting activities such as orienteering, bridge building (across the river if desired), survival skills, river walks, canoeing on and swimming in the river etc. Pioneering poles can be had on loan if desired.''All the above of course are subject to safety rules and regulations being applied.''This is a traditional camp site where scouts like George Purdy (Chief Scout) learnt their scouting skills.
