The site is part of the Mersey Valley and Red Rose environmental parks and has an abundance of wildlife and extensive river walks. The headquarters can be used for Training Courses and as sleeping accommodation although no beds are provided, in addition the Headquarters buildings provides for emergency indoor cub camp sleeping area.''The site is ideally situated for Manchester City Centre and the host of tourist attractions the city benefits from. The commonwealth Games stadium is located approximately 10 miles away. The headquarters building is undergoing renovations so will not be available until further notice but that the archery range can serve as a wet weather barn meanwhile.

We are located on National Trust land in tranquil unspoilt countryside, however only 12 miles from Manchester City Centre. Despite our rural location we are accessible to the motorway and public transport links. Situated adjacent to a large deer park, Dunham Massey, the site has numerous secluded sites, suitable for all sizes of camp and we also have two indoor accommodation buildings.
