Our site is ideally situated for peace, away from the tourism side of the island. However only 20 minutes away(by car) to the sandy beaches of Sandown/ Shanklin. Public transport its only a 5 min walk from the camp site. Isle of Wight scout groups now have a special offer for any groups camping on island to sail with'Wightlink' ferries for 2009. Still some weeks/weekends available for summer/winter period

The site is situated off Trinity Road on a hill behind Holy Trinity Church.''There is a bus stop at the entrance drive, which leads to the site.''A general store is within 5 minutes walk and the Beach, Downs and Town are within 10 minutes walk.''The Hut is 40ft x 30 ft with a small kitchen and rooms to the side.''The site is surrounded by but not overlooked by residential housing and guesthouses etc. So noise etc at night but be kept to a minimum''''Car Parking is limited to 6 cars and the access drive is steep and narrow.
