Additional notes

Tables and chairs are available for use by campers. Marquees are sometimes available for use by Groups using the site, for a fee. The facilities of the Country Park, but not the Castle itself, are available free of charge to groups using the Camp Site. It is possible to arrange a tour of the Castle for campers, but this is not guaranteed. The Site has its own membership of the NTS. Groups wishing to visit the Castle or other NTS properties in the area, while resident at our camp site, should contact our booking secretary well in advance of their visit. (To avoid disappointment)''''A Ranger service is available, within the Country Park, offering guided walks and other activities. Please make bookings by contacting the Ranger Service in advance (01655 884400) of your arrival at the site. You will be asked for a donation to the NTS in return for the services of the Rangers.
